you might have your accounts with different social media websites and you may want to have a look at the tweets/info at your own website without logging into twitter. Yes, this can be possible with the Twitter widgets.

Here are the steps to achieve the widget to place on your website.

Go to http://twitter.com/goodies/widgets

You have 2 Sections here:

My Website: Let’s you choose different type of widgets available to place them on your website

Facebook: Lets you to add the twitter tweets on your facebook account.

You have 4 types of widgets available to display different result on your tweets from the “My Website” option, they are:

Profile widget – Display the most recent twitter updates on any webpage

Search Widget – Displays the search results in real time! This widget is Ideal for live events, broadcastings, conferences TV Shows, or even just keeping up with the news.

Faves Widget – Shows your favorite tweets! Also in real time, this widget will pull in the tweets you’ve starred as favorites. It’s great for moderation.

List Widget – Puts your favorite tweets into a list! Then show them in a widget. It’s also great for moderation.

Mostly we require the latest tweets to be displayed on our website, so go with the 1^st option, i.e. Profile widget:

Below you can see the look and feel of the widget to display latest feeds, you can customize (dimensions, colors, appearance) of the widget as per your website colors and finally get the code to place it on your website.

Step 1: go to http://twitter.com/goodies/widgets [if you didnt login to twitter account, do login]

Step 2: Choose “My Website” option from left side options

Step 3: Select “Profile Widget” to get the latest tweets of your twitter account

Step 4: Do necessary customization required for your website and click the button at bottom “Finish & grab code”

Step 5: Place the code in your website, wherever you want to see the latest tweets
